Fifth Ireland Masterclass in Health Economics
Registration is open for the Fifth Ireland Masterclass in Health Economics, which will be held March 18-20, 2026 in Galway, Ireland at the University of Galway.
The Ireland Masterclass in Health Economics brings together internationally recognized senior researchers to share overviews of their research areas with early-career health economists, including assistant professors, postdoctoral researchers and Ph.D. students. The program also includes professional development sessions, such as a Meet the Editors event. The Masterclass is organized on a strictly non-profit basis. Thanks to the generous support of sponsors, delegate fees are capped to remain accessible.

Call for Papers
11th Workshop in Behavioral and Experimental Health Economics
Seattle, Washington | December 7-8, 2026
The Comparative Health Outcomes, Policy and Economics (CHOICE) Institute at University of Washington is pleased to host the 11th Workshop in Behavioral and Experimental Health Economics in Seattle, Washington, on December 7th and 8th, 2026. The workshop brings together economists and behavioral scientists who apply behavioral economics insights and experimental methods to study health-related decision making. The workshop is part of the activities of the Behavioral Experiments in Health.
We welcome contributions on all topics related to economic aspects of health-related decision making (e.g., preferences, incentives, institutions) using behavioral and experimental economics approaches. These may include experimental methods (online, laboratory, or field experiments), quasi-experimental designs,
observational studies, or theoretical work that advances our understanding of behavioral factors in health economics. We expect to have both long presentations (about 30 minutes) and lightening talks (5 mins) that will be accompanied by a poster presentation.

Submissions
We welcome submissions of full papers or extended abstracts. Preference will be given to full-paper submissions.

Authors will be notified regarding the acceptance of their paper by early October 2026.
There are no registration costs to attend the conference. All participants will need to cover their own travel expenses. Participation is subject to availability beyond participants with accepted presentations or posters.
