Associate Professor of Health Policy and Management

The University of Southern California’s Sol Price School of Public Policy, in partnership with the USC School of Pharmacy, invites applications for an Associate Professor of Health Policy and Management. This is a full time, tenure track position, with the primary appointment in the Price School and a secondary appointment in the School of Pharmacy. The position also has an affiliation with the Schaeffer Center for Health Policy and Economics, which is jointly administered by the two schools.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in a related field and demonstrate strength in research and teaching in the policy and management of health care. The successful candidate will contribute to research in health policy, management, economics or related fields.

The appointment will involve teaching responsibilities in both schools’ programs in health policy and health administration, which includes the Price School’s master in health administration degree program and our undergraduate track in health policy, offered in Los Angeles, and our executive master in health administration program, which is offered as a hybrid on-line degree. Some teaching may also be required in the Doctor of Pharmacy program curriculum, graduate programs in pharmaceutical and health economics, and health care decision analysis.
