The University of Florida College of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy is expanding its faculty and is recruiting for new faculty at the rank of:
Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor (Tenure Track)
Qualified candidates must have a Ph.D. degree or similar academic training in pharmaceutical outcomes research, health policy research, pharmacoeconomics, pharmacoepidemiology, or a related field and bring specific experience in pharmacoeconomic research. Appointment requires demonstration of or potential for an extramurally-funded research program, scholarship, and teaching proficiency that are consistent with appointment to these ranks at a research-intensive university. A special teaching and leadership component will include contributions to our Department’s Online MS program, including directorship for its Applied Pharmacoeconomics track.
The UF College of Pharmacy ranks among the top five colleges of pharmacy in the nation and is located at the main campus of the University of Florida, the flagship AAU institution of the State of Florida. The College is based in one of the largest integrated academic health centers in the country, with Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, Public Health and Health Professions, and Veterinary Medicine, as well as UF Health and the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, situated on a campus serving over 50,000 students. The growing department consists of 11 tenured and tenure track faculty. It has a well-recognized residential graduate program with 30+ residential PhD and MS students and a growing online MS program with 150+ students. The department’s research infrastructure is supported by the Center for Drug Evaluation and Safety or CoDES, which facilitates research collaborations in real-world populations using a variety of big data sources.
