The Department of Health Policy and Management (HPM) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level with expertise in Health Economics. Administratively located in the CEPH-accredited School of Public Health (SPH), the Department offers the Master of Health Administration (MHA), Master of Public Health (MPH), and the Ph.D. in Health Service Research.
This position requires a Ph.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited institution in economics, health economics, health services research, or a related field. Applications from those interested in examining the effects of laws and regulations on health and healthcare are especially encouraged.
Duties include a strong commitment to teaching with a clear commitment to students, the ability to conduct high quality research within inter-disciplinary teams including collaboration with other faculty, and contributing to a professional and collegial environment.
