The Department of Health Management and Policy at the University of Michigan School of Public Health is seeking a tenure track faculty member in quality improvement and performance measurement. The position can be at the assistant or associate professor level, depending on the qualifications of the candidate.
Minimum requirements include an earned doctorate in health policy, health services research, economics, sociology, or other relevant social science discipline. A track record of research and teaching in healthcare quality is highly desirable.
The ideal candidate has strong research skills and an agenda that focuses on measuring and improving quality of care. Background in implementation science is also desirable, but any strong applicant in the broader realm of healthcare quality will be considered.
