Health Economist, Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, Department of Pediatrics, University of Utah School of Medicine

This is an incredible opportunity to join a collegial academic environment and work with an outstanding group of pediatric oncology, health services and population sciences researchers. The Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at the University of Utah School of Medicine is recruiting a Health Economist to collaborate with a group of pediatric oncology, health services and population sciences researchers on ongoing value based health care analyses of childhood and adolescent cancer outcomes, in addition to developing independent research projects. The Health Economist will conduct statistical and economic analyses to support the collaborative projects and will also lead individual research studies.

Qualified candidates must have a Ph.D. in Economics or related field; post-doctoral training or experience in Health Economics, or other relevant training and/or experience. The selected candidate must also have an established history of scholarly achievement in the form of peer-reviewed health economics publications, health services, public health, clinical outcomes, or related areas. The selected candidate will receive a faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics on the Research or Tenure track at the academic level commensurate with experience and qualifications.
