The Department of Community Health at Tufts University invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Associate or Full Professor to join our growing department. This position includes full 9-month salary support. We are interested in all areas of public health, and especially interested in candidates with a high level of expertise in quantitative methods. The successful candidate will have a well-established track record of peer-reviewed research and extramural funding.

The Community Health department is  an accomplished community of researchers with strong collaborations within Tufts and beyond. Excellent resources are available to support a successful research program and there are numerous opportunities for collaborative research with faculty from other departments and other Tufts Schools (e.g., Tufts School of Medicine, Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy). Secondary appointments are possible across the university and at affiliated, leading hospitals. Diversity and inclusion are core values of the department. Qualifications

Candidates are expected to have a doctoral degree or equivalent in one of the following areas: global health, epidemiology, biostatistics, social/behavioral health sciences, or related health or social science field. University-level teaching experience is required and experience in teaching and in mentoring junior faculty and students is preferred. A successful candidate will demonstrate a clear commitment to teaching excellence and working with a diverse student population, as well as dedication to collaboration with faculty within and beyond the department.
